Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. Announces 2010 Charles J. Walsh Scholar

Sills Cummis & Gross is pleased to announce that Philip S. Voss, a first-year student at Rutgers School of Law–Newark, has been selected as the firm’s 2010 Charles J. Walsh Scholar. The Charles J. Walsh Scholar Fund will provide financial and other assistance in the form of scholarship support, summer internship stipends, active mentorship during law school, and career guidance. | |

Max Crane, Managing Partner, stated: “We are pleased to welcome Philip Voss, our 2010 Charles J. Walsh Scholar. We are proud to support Rutgers School of Law by assisting and mentoring students such as Mr. Voss. We are hopeful that he will use this experience to become an excellent lawyer and thus continue Chuck’s legacy.”
In 2006, Sills Cummis & Gross established the Scholar Fund on behalf of the family, friends and colleagues of the late Judge Charles J. Walsh who, prior to his appointment to the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, was a valued Member of the Firm for 17 years. Judge Walsh was also an adjunct professor at the law school.
