U.S. District Court Judge Joseph H. Rodriguez Keynote Speaker at ALALS’s “Fiesta con Sabor” on February 24

The Association of Latin-American Law Students (ALALS) at Rutgers School of Law–Newark will hold its 14th annual “Fiesta con Sabor” on Thursday, February 24, 2011, from 6:30 pm to midnight at the law school. The Hon. Joseph H. Rodriguez, judge of the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, will be the keynote speaker.

The dinner event will also honor the accomplishments and contributions to the legal community of Superior Court Judge Alberto Rivas ’85; Suzette T. Rodriguez ’03, president of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey and associate counsel for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, Inc.; Anna Maria Tejada ’99, associate at Kaufman, Dolowich, Voluck & Gonzo LLP; and Julia Lopez ’06, associate at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, P.A. 

All sponsorships for “Fiesta con Sabor” will benefit the ALALS Scholarship Fund. Tickets for the dinner event are $10 for students and $25 for non-students.
