April 4 Symposium to Commemorate 60th Anniversary of the UN Genocide Convention

Scholars from around the world will mark the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Genocide Convention with a symposium at Rutgers School of Law–Newark on Friday, April 4. Juan E. Méndez, president of the International Center for Transitional Justice, will deliver the keynote address. The event is hosted by the Rutgers Law Review in conjunction with the Rutgers Center for the Study of Genocide and Human Rights.
