Geminesse (Gem) T. Johnson has been appointed Associate Director of Reunion Campaigns for Rutgers School of Law–Newark. She will work closely with Dean John J. Farmer, Jr. and Director of Development Ava Majlesi to advance the mission of the law school and increase alumni support through reunion fundraising campaigns.

Johnson joins Rutgers from Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, where as a development associate on the corporate and foundation relations team she was actively involved in the college’s $1.3 billion fundraising campaign. Prior to that, she was a development and marketing associate for the New Jersey Youth Symphony. In both positions, she was involved with planning and organizing fundraising activities.

Johnson, a classically trained pianist and vocalist, received a B.A. in music from the University of Chicago. | Read Story
