Mukti N. Patel has been appointed Assistant Director in the Office of Career Services at Rutgers School of Law–Newark. She will work on all of the office’s programs and initiatives, with an emphasis on employer outreach.
“We are very excited to have Mukti join our office,” said Stephanie Richman, Assistant Dean for Career Services. “Her in-depth experience in the New Jersey/New York legal market and her enthusiasm for the school make her a perfect addition. We look forward to her contributions, which will enhance the office’s ability to develop additional opportunities for the law school’s students and alumni.”
Patel is a 2002 graduate of the law school, where she was business editor of the Rutgers Law Review and a Nathan Baker Moot Court Competition participant. After graduating she served as a law clerk to the Hon. Richard Newman, New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. She was most recently a senior associate, business and commercial litigation, at Fox Rothschild LLP. Prior to that she practiced at McCarter & English LLP and Morgan, Melhuish, Abrutyn.
Patel received a B.A. in political science and history from Rutgers University.
