Online Access to NJ Statutes Now Offered by Rutgers–Newark Law Library
The Law Library at Rutgers School of Law–Newark is now maintaining a user-friendly version of the New Jersey Statutes on its website that is readily accessible to members of the legal community and the general public.
Visitors to http://njlaw.rutgers.edu/collections/njstats will find an easy-to-browse format that enables them to jump right to a specific section of a statute. The display of laws contains links to source session laws and links to court cases on the library website that cite to the statute.
The system will also maintain links to older versions of each section as it updates. The section of the library website dedicated to the New Jersey Statutes is updated daily from data supplied directly from the New Jersey Legislature.
The new availability of the New Jersey Statutes at http://njlaw.rutgers.edu/collections/njstats is part of an ongoing program by the library, the most comprehensive public law library in New Jersey, to provide free Internet access to legal materials, federal and state government documents, and historical records for use by scholars, practitioners and the general public.
